I have a question Mr. Daniel Mesa… Where in the Bible does it mention the worlds sufferings will come like a woman giving birth, (faster & faster)labor pangs?? Thank you & God Bless!! O:-)
Yes, Matthew 24:8 says in the English Standard Version: “All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.” It also says the same thing in Mark 13:8, which is a parallel passage to Matthew 24.
Thanks for asking! =)

Dear Mr. Daniel Mesa, I have been to all 3 of your nightly meetings so far and I had a question, but didn’t quite know just how to word it. And last night’s message(which you gave to us so wonderfully) wasn’t exactly about what I had been wanting to ask- yet somehow you put it out there. That had to be GOD!! It was AMAZING!! See; I know we are saved by Grace, not of works. But when I read verses that state-“Get baptized n believe in Jesus Christ, then you will be saved!!” It made me wonder-that if drunkards do that, can they be saved even though they keep sinning? Then you said- We are Judged by our works. And it became more clear for me! So I was wondering- will they still be saved if they continue drinking even though they got baptized n believe in Jesus? Plz include some scriptures that I can show my friends, that will back this all up. Thank you and Great job up there preaching! My family loves how you speak loud and keep us all wanting more. May God Bless all that you do!! O:-) Amen. *Lydia C. Hernandez*
Hello Lydia. Thank you for asking. And yes, praise God that He speaks through His willing servants!
We are not saved by our works, but we are not saved without them, as we are judged by our works. (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, 2 Corinthians 5:10. See also John 15:5, Philippians 2:12-13 showing that we cannot obey God in our own works, but we can when we choose to have Christ live out His life within us. =)
Regarding the Scriptures that will help with your question: 1. Ezekiel 18:20-24 2. Romans 6:1-2, 11-14 (this is in the context of baptism).
Christ says, “Verily I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also.” John 14:12.
May the Lord be with you! Ask if you have more questions. =)

Hello Pastor Mesa, I am a HUGE animal lover and have a question about them for you. I know Animals will be there with US in Heaven, but does the Bible mention at all- any verses that Testify that they will be our very own same Past Pets(souls) that we shared so much Love & care with on this earth?? For it won’t be heaven to me without them… . Can you please show me some enlightening scriptures on the subject. Thanx!!
Yes, God has given us a lot of counsel about that, hasn’t He!?
We cannot be saved by our works, but we cannot be saved without them either. We are JUDGED by our works!
We’re saved by grace through faith, but not judged by grace through faith… we’ll be judged by what we have chosen to do with the knowledge we have.

Also… concerning Death Decoded- My cousin had a miscarriage some time ago, so her baby was never born into the world of sin. Will her unborn child be there when she gets to heaven? Do unborn babies go straight to heaven with Jesus since they are innocent? Please share with us the answer, as well as some scriptures that will lighten up our hope on this matter. Thanks!! GOD BLESS!!
Thank you for the kind remarks, and certainly, I want to be part of that number that are in the Heavens after God’s glorious coming!
Regarding children, here are a couple things you might want to think about: 1. Matthew 2:16-18 recall the tragedy of little ones dying by the hand of Roman soldiers while trying to snuff out the life of the man child Jesus. You’ll notice that was taken from an Old Testament book entitled Jeremiah. 2. Jeremiah 31:15-16 talks of Ramah, just as Matthew does, and at the end of verse 16 it says, “they (the children that were not) shall come again from the land of the enemy.” The enemy is satan, and his land in this context would refer to death.
There is hope for those who’s work in the Lord will be rewarded. =)
Here’s a quote from a book entitled “Heaven” by Ellen White, page 45: “Our fondest hopes are often blighted here. Our loved ones are torn from us by death. We close their eyes and habit them for the tomb, and lay them away from our sight. But hope bears our spirits up. We are not parted forever, but shall meet the loved ones who sleep in Jesus. They shall come again from the land of the enemy. The Life-giver is coming. Myriads of holy angels escort Him on His way. He bursts the bands of death, breaks the fetters of the tomb, the precious captives come forth in health and immortal beauty. As the little infants come forth immortal from their dusty beds, they immediately wing their way to their mothers’ arms. They meet again nevermore to part. But many of the little ones have no mother there. We listen in vain for the rapturous song of triumph from the mother. The angels receive the motherless infants and conduct them to the tree of life. Jesus places the golden ring of light, the crown upon their little heads.”
Our having wings in Heaven can be found in Isaiah 40:31, “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles.”

Hello Lydia, the only answer I think I could give you is to point you to a book (though I’ve never read it). The title seems like it would answer your questions. You can find it here: http://www.adventistbookcenter.com/your-pet-your-health-and-the-afterlife.html
Blessings!
Pastor Mesa, about what you said about works, maybe you can also tell us James 2:14 and on. It also talks about works. Thanks!
