The first 19 years as a Christian (working since 2000 as a pastor), one of the things I came to do was to exalt a false Christ in the place of His Father. We cannot be saved by our works, yet we cannot be saved without them. The reason? The judgment to come (consider Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, 2 Corinthians 5:10).
