The reader will find below a numbered series of thoughts that were put together by a currently employed Seventh-day Adventist pastor in an effort to establish the doctrine of the trinity using mostly Ellen White’s writings. These thoughts came to me in the order following, and were originally numbered as they are. 
Where are the words ‘trinity,’ triune,’ triunity,’ or the like in the Bible?
Based on Genesis 28 and John 1, the following quotes are quite interesting:
The “counsel of peace” was between them both, which refers to the Father and His Son, as it reads in Zechariah 6:13 (see also Patriarchs and Prophets 34.1, and The Great Controversy 493.1). The enemy, satan, wanted to be “like the Most High” (Isaiah 14:14). Proverbs 8:22-30 is used by many to show that the Son of God (Christ) was brought forth from the Father before anything was created. From the period of dateless ages that Christ was brought forth, there has never been a time where He was not in close fellowship with His Father. Both 1 Corinthians 1:24, 30 are used to show that Christ was made unto us wisdom. 
Jesus referred to Himself as the Light of the world in John 8:12, 9:5, and John 12:46… but He also said:
